Pure Bliss Photography: Review & Giveaway!

I recently had the pleasure of meeting and working with Kelly Faulkner of Pure Bliss Photography. Kelly is a mama of one adorable little girl and recently moved to this area from the southern tier area of NY. We are truly lucky to have her talents here!

My family and I chose to do a session in Yaddo Gardens in Saratoga. The night was hot, humid, muggy, and buggy but we pressed on. Throughout our session, Kelly was super professional, patient and up-for-anything. We tried several poses in various locations and configurations. She was easily able to wrangle an impatient 3 year-old and a confused 1 year-old and get them both to perform.

Once our session was complete, Kelly posted a few preview pictures on Facebook. A week or so later, she had our online gallery ready for viewing. There were so many beautiful pictures to choose from! She captured stunning individual shots of each child, gorgeous shots of both kids, pictures that made us laugh, and many wonderful family pictures.
The result is a gorgeously packaged Pure Bliss keepsake CD containing 25 of our most favorite pictures we will cherish forever.

I am pretty sure my favorite thing about her website is the picture of Jude & Robby. Adorable! I really like how crisp her photos are and how she captures candid moments.

We just had photos taken at the Saratoga Battlefield. The vistas are great there. I think I would like to try a place more wooded next time - maybe the trails at SPAC.

I like how she uses the word "pure" so many times to describe her pictures. "Pure Bellies, Pure Life, Pure Love, etc)

Comment #3 Yaddo is one of my favorites. I had my wedding ceremony there. IT just calls for great pictures. I also like the crossings in Latham because of the rolling hills.

The only local place I've had experience with professional photos has been Yaddo, which I really enjoyed. It is big enough to have different background options and everything is very beautiful, so you really can't go wrong.

For entry #3 - I love Yaddo gardens, particularly the wrought iron gates. Gives it a neo-classical look.

I love the Pierre family photos in the Pure Life Gallery of the website. I must say that the still life shots are a wonderful memory of places (the park bench in the Fine Art Gallery) and things (children shoes in Pure Life Gallery)that are such a part of our lives at that time.

I think that one the best locations for a session is your own home. Not only are you capturing your family but also your home. A photographer can see your space outdoors and indoors so differently than you can!

I am still discovering new places, so I am enjoying the ideas for local shoots. Personally, I think downtown Saratoga might provide a neat back drop.
