A couple neat classes are starting this week for the little one's at Malta Community Center. Having taken them both, I highly recommend! Tuesdays from 9:30-11am there's Toddler Time (15-36 months), and that starts this week. Also starting this week is Makin' Music (18mos.-4yrs), Wednesdays from 9:30-10:30. They both have spots available. Toddler Time is basically a big gym with tons of toys for the kids to go nuts and play for the first half. Second half is story time, music and snack. This is very relaxing and not very structured (in a good way!). Makin' Music is definitely a more structured environment with group songs, stories, instruments, marching, etc. It also ends with snack time. You can't go wrong with either!
Two new free classes for parents are also starting this week, Tot University and Parents of Pre-Schoolers. They both start Tuesday and cover lots of interesting topics pertaining to raising children. Tot is from 11-11:30 and Pre-Schools is from 10-11am. Only problem is only kids under 1 are able to attend. I'd love to do the Tot University, but I'm not sure what to do with my tot during that time! Too bad it wasn't offered in the evening.
