There's a lot going on this weekend, but if you want to celebrate Flag Day (which is Monday, June 14th) a little early, head to Burnt Hills on Thursday night! The Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake community will be celebrating the red, white and blue at the 9th Annual BH-BL Community Flag Day Parade on Thursday, June 10, 2010 at 7pm. There will also be a fireworks display at the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School following the parade. I think this parade goes right down Route 50 in Burnt Hills/Ballston Lake. Having just gone to the Ballston Spa Memorial Day parade with my son, I'm a huge parade fan! He loved the sounds, people-watching, lollipop throwing, action.
Thursday also kicks off Saratoga Arts Fest. More about that tomorrow, but the Children's Museum at Saratoga is having an Art Rally for Kids Scavenger Hunt starting Thursday and running through the weekend.
