This Friday, April 16th the Malta Community Center is hosting a Teddy Bear Picnic to welcome the spring. Children ages 2-5 are invited to bring a teddy bear or other toy and a caregiver. The picnic goes from 9:45-10:45 and the cost is $10 for residents and $11 for non-residents. This will probably be a good way to meet some other kiddos in the area in a cute and friendly setting. You must pre-register by calling the center at 518-899-4411. You also need to bring a picnic blanket and a picture of the child I have no idea why though.
Part II of this post is about the picnic blanket! I have been eyeing this JJ Cole blanket (shown in photo) on Amazon for so long! I'm thinking that the TB picnic on Friday is just the excuse I need to place this order. It gets great reviews and folds up so nicely. I like that it's got a waterproof side too and seems big enough. Anyone have a better idea?
